Maja Marjancic graduated from Ana Maletić’s School for Contemporary Dance and graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. Her interest in dance is diverse, so it encompasses all areas of dance art, from performance and choreography to pedagogical and theoretical aspects.
As a choreographer, performer and associate for stage movement, she collaborated with renowned Croatian dance and drama artists in Zagreb, Rijeka and Split, and since 2015 she has been an assistant professor at the chair for stage movement at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb.
She is a member of UPUH, and she upgraded her artistic experience with volunteer work in dance associations and organizations such as Ekscena and Plesni kolektiv d_lc, where she was the holder of several artistic and educational projects and programs.
So far, she has collaborated with Rijeka Ballet and Maša Kolar in the projects “Macbeth”, “Allegro”, “Bolero”, “Lace”, “Sacred of Spring” and “Afternoon of a Faun” as a dramaturge and assistant choreographer.
