Today’s commemoration of the great actress Mira Furlan at the CNT Ivan pl. Zajc can be viewed starting at 6 PM on the Theatre’s YouTube channel:
On this occasion, the following will be saying their farewells:
Neva Rošić, actress, doyenne of Croatian acting
Dr. Lada Čale Feldman, theatrologist and university professor
Dr. Sanja Bojanić, philosopher, feminist and university professor
Mr. Vojko Obersnel, Mayor of Rijeka
Dr. Marin Blažević, intendant and theatrologist, and
Dr. Nikola Petković, author, culturologist and university professor.
During the commemoration, the principle actress of the Rijeka CNT, Tanja Smoje, will read a text by Heni Erceg dedicated to Mira, principle actress of drama ensemble Jelena Lopatić will read a text by Mima Simić, and actress Ivna Bruck will read farewell sonnets by Louis Fantasia, Dean of Faculty and Chair of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, where Mia Furlan was a professor.
We will also show a short film by Marin Lukanović made exactly a year ago, in Los Angeles, on the occasion of the performance of Mira Furlan in the play “Practicing Life – Second Time”.
