The first day of our online program “Zajc With You” has received a number of enthusiastic and appreciative responses.
The program opened at 8 AM with Tanja Smoje reading Vesna Parun’s poem “When One Can Travel (Kad bi se moglo putovati).” The opera aria “Pourquoi me réveiller” from Jules Massenet’s opera “Werther” was performed by tenor Aljaž Farasin at noon, accompanied by maestro Igor Vlajnić on the piano. Before bedtime, our national drama champion Olivera Baljak told children the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty by Charles Perrault. The program was concluded by Rijeka Ballet soloist Tea Rušin performing a variation from the ballet “Apollo”, with choreography by Martin Chaix.
