Marko Fortunato was born 10.05.1982. in Slavonski Brod, where he completed the theoretical music school ‘Matija Mesić’, while at the same time he attended a guitar music school ‘Franjo Kuhač’ in Osijek. After high school he enrolled theoretical bearing academy of Music ‘Ino Mirkovic’ in Lovran, after three years of study he switches to the Music Academy of Zagreb University. In the meantime, he attends singing in high school of music ‘Ivan Matetić-Ronjgov’ in Rijeka. After two years he enrolled opera singing at the Music Academy in Zagreb, department of Rijeka.
He sang roles in the operas La Traviata, Madama Butterfly, Lucia di Lammermoor, Sunstroke, Ero, Adriana Lecouvreur, Brownie Maja, The Magic Flute, The turn of the screw, Don Giovanni, Eugene Onegin and more. He is a permanent employee of the National Theatre “Ivan pl. Zajc ” in Rijeka.
