After graduating from the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest, Ali got accepted to the Ballet of the Hungarian National Opera. There he continued to develop his personal dance style by attending numerous workshops for contemporary dance across Europe. During his time at the National Opera, Ali danced in choreographies by Jiří Kylián, Robert North, Sergej Lászl, Kenneth MacMillan, John Cranko, Boris Eifman and others. He was also a guest aritist at the PR-Evolution dance company in Budapest where he worked with, among others, choreographer Leo Mujić.
Since 2015 Ali is the member of the Croatian National Theater Ivana pl. Zajca, Rijeka where he has been dancing challenging and notable roles such as: Nick Bottom in the „Midsummer Night’s Dream“ by Leo Mujić, Von Rothbart in „Swan Lake“ by Staša Zurovac, Macbeth in „Macbeth“ by Maše Kolar and Nutcracker in the Mauro de Candia’s version of this famous ballet. He also danced in choreographies by Mauro Bigonzetti, Giuseppe Spota, Andonis Foniadakis, Giovanni Di Palma, Douglas Lee and others. In the season 2019/20, Ali has been promoted to the principal dancer.
