Osman Eyublu

Born in 1994 in Baku, Azerbaijan. He started playing the violin and piano at the age of 5.

He began his education in Moscow, where from 2009 to 2013 he attended the Higher School of Music, which operates under the P. I. Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory of Music. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in violin from the Baku Academy of Music in 2015 and a master’s degree in 2019 from the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria (Master of Arts-violinist).

As a violinist and pianist he has performed in Germany, Russia, Greece, Israel, France, Switzerland. In 2007, he won the first two prizes at the international competition for young musicians in Zalau, Romania. After applying for a summer school in Bergen, the Netherlands, he received two scholarships: for the violin program and for the piano program.

In 2020, together with his colleague Pedro Rosenthal Campuzano, he produced an audiovisual essay ‘IM’PROBABLE INTERPRETARIONS’ in collaboration with the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art for David Maljković’s exhibition “With the Collection” as part of Rijeka 2020.

He currently lives and works in Croatia, since 2018 he works in the Rijeka Symphony Orchestra of the Croatian National Theater Ivan pl. Zajc Rijeka. As a musician, he regularly participates in various chamber projects, as well as in Croatian and Italian theater and ballet productions. He also regularly collaborates with Podium Festival (Germany), Puppenfilarmonie (Germany), Schallfeld Ensemble (Austria), musical platforms that actively question the new frontiers of academic music in post-contemporary society.
