Started his career as a performer at National President Orchestra of Ukraine from 2006 to 2015, 2015-2021 he worked in the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine. He is currently working at Rijeka Symphony Orchestra, Croatian National Theatre Ivan Zajc, Rijeka. He gave a solo concert withing the framework of Choco-Classics Chamber Music Festival in Kyiv in 2014. He got interested in contemporary music and started performing it in 2015. His recent notable engagements include a number of concerts with Ukho contemporary music ensemble (2015-2021). He also attended bassoon master classes by Sergio Azzolini (Italy), David Petersen (Germany), Gustavo Núñez (Netherlands), and took part in various contests and collaborations.
Volodymyr Antoshyn is a graduate of Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music where his principal teacher was associate professor Yuriy Dondakov. During his years of study he was repeatedly distinguished for his high achievements in ensemble performance.
