Thomas started dancing in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he was born. There he trained at the Igokat dance school, directed by Igor Piovano and Kathryn Bradney, both dancers with Maurice Béjart, until he turned 18 years old. He then studied for 2 years at The Hamburg Ballet School of John Neumeier. He was taught by Kevin Haigen, Janusz Mazon, Stacey Denham and Gigi Hyatt. During his time at the school, he took part in productions of the Hamburg ballet such as Nijinsky, Illusions like Swan Lake and Anna Karenina. After graduating in 2019, he joined the Bundesjungenballett of John Neumeier. In this junior company he had to chance to explore with various choreographers like Raymond Hilbert, Dustin Klein, Sebastian Kloborg, Marijn Rademaker, Natalia Horecna and John Neumeier. During the three seasons with the Bundesjugendballett, Thomas experienced projects that never stopped challenging him. During his time in Hamburg, he also grew closer to his choreographer affinity and was able to choreograph few pieces. Thomas has joined the Rijeka Ballet Company in the season 2022/2023.
