All the pedestrians who walked along Korzo from 11 to 11:30 AM had the opportunity to see the dancers of our Ballet performing their daily exercises with a ballet barre and music. Each ballet rehearsal was met with applause from the audience, wherewith they expressed their enthusiasm and interest in the ballet and our ensemble. The bravest of these onlookers spontaneously joined the professional dancers in an attempt to perform the classical ballet discipline. The Rijeka Ballet will be back on the stage of Zajc at the end of September, with performances of the hit ballet “Lace” (“Čipka”), choreographed by Maša Kolar and with original music by Tena Novak Vincek. There will also be performances in October of the ballet-dance show “Burning Water” by the famous choreographer Andonis Foniadakis.
