Paula graduated from the Liceul de Coregrafie si Arta Dramatica ‘Octavian Stroia’ in Cluj-Napoca, and joined the Ballet of the Rumanian Opera Temišvar (Opera Romana Timisoara). In 1994 she joined the Ballet of the CNT Ivana pl. Zajca, Rijeka where she has worked with choreographers such as Norman Dixon, Vesna Butorac, Vasile Solomon, Staša Zurovac, Milko Šparemblek, Edward Clug, Patrick Delcroix, Dinko Bogdanić, Hugo Viera, Ronald Savković etc. Some of her finest roles were: Kitty in ‘Ana Karenina’ (by Dinko Bogdanić), Colombina and Chinese doll in ‘Nutcracker’ (by Ronald Savković), Penelope in ‘Penelope’ (by L. Sous), Dunjazada-wisdom in ‘Scheherazade’ (by Leo Mujić), Hippolyta and Theseus’ fiancee in ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ (by Leo Mujić). She is currently working as a ballet company’s pedagogue.
