TCHAIKOVSKY, BORODIN
At the first concert in the year 2020, the Orchestra is hosting the young conductor Dmitry Kryukov. Co-operating regularly with the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow and other Russian orchestras, Kryukov represents a new generation of conductors with a clear dedication to quite a non-traditional musical formation. Borodin’s Symphony No. 2 is the most famous composer’s work, revealing the genuine feeling for melody in the manner of the most refined Slavic masters.
