The Mahler Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1997 as a unique international ensemble dedicated to creating and sharing exceptional experiences in classical music by musicians from all over the world. With 45 members from 20 different countries, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra works as a collective of passionate musicians uniting for specific tours across the world. The concert will be led by Leif Ove Andsnes, Norwegian pianist that many describe as one of the most gifted musicians of his generation. The orchestra has performed in over 40 countries, across 5 continents so far, the concert in Rijeka being their first performance in Croatia.
