Yesterday, we started with the poem “Dal nulla un soffio di poseia” by our fellow citizen, the poet and great intellectual Giacomo Scotti. It was read by Italian Drama actor Giuseppe Nicodemo. At noon, soprano Vanja Zelčić sang the famous Wally aria from the opera “La Wally,” by Alfredo Catalani. She dedicated the performance “to all those who have to work at a time when most people are safe in their own homes.” Our youngest audience heard another fable by the ancient Greek fabulist Aesop, “The Ant and the Grasshopper,” which was read by Croatian Drama actor Edi Ćelić. The ballet was the duet “Les petites pois” from the ballet “Rossini Cards”, with choreography by Mauro Bigonzetti. It was performed by Maria del Mar Hernandez and Hélias Tur Dorvault, with piano accompaniment by Filip Fak.
