During the second day of our online program “Zajc With You”, we celebrated World Poetry Day with the morning poem “A mio Figlio” by Rodolfo Wilcock, read by actor Mirko Soldano. We welcomed the first day of spring with a performance by Rijeka Butterfly Anamarija Knego, performing the aria “Un bel di vedremo” from Puccini’s opera “Madame Butterfly”. We marked World Down Syndrome day with a fairy tale for our youngest viewers: “Three Pigs” by the Grimm brothers, told by storyteller Dean Krivačić while wearing mismatched socks for the occasion. He was accompanied by musicians from the Rijeka Symphony Orchestra – Iva Štefančić, Osman Eybulu and Pedro Rosenthal Campuzano. At the end of the day, ballet soloist Tilman Patzak presented his improvisation with messages of support for all of us in these uncertain times.
