The beginning of the new week was marked by morning poetry in Italian, with Actor Bruno Nacinovich reciting the poem “Qui come da per tutto” by Oswald Ramous. At noon, Diana Haller, an honorary member of the opera ensemble, sang the “Voi che sapete” aria from the opera “Le nozze di Figaro,” which she dedicated to the Croatian people, encouraging them to remain strong and unified to recover as quickly as possible from all the adversity they’re facing. In the evening actress Jelena Lopatić told our youngest viewers the story of Thumbelina, a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. She was accompanied by one of the musicians of the Rijeka Symphony Orchestra, Petar Kovačić, on the cello. At the end of the day, a solo performance was held by a new member of Rijeka’s ballet ensemble, Nicola Prato, with choreography by Michele Pastorini. The motivational, inspirational solo was a perfect end to the day.
