The young Italian conductor, pianist and composer Beatrice Venezi, who will direct the upcoming “Nessun Dorma” concerts, has already achieved international recognition. She has conducted in many opera houses and is currently the chief conductor of the Milano Classica Orchestra and the Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti, as well as guest chief conductor of the Orchestra della Toscana. She is the first Italian woman to stand at the conductor’s podium already at the age of 29, for which she was included in the Forbes list of the most influential women under 30.
This maestro is often referred to as the most virtuosic conductor in Italy. You can see for yourself on July 23 and 25 at the Square of Rijeka Resolution (Trg Riječke rezolucije).
