As a timpanist he has collaborated with the most important Italian and international orchestras and theatres, including the R.A.I. Symphony Orchestra, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Lirico-Cagliari, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Arena in Verona, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, the Haydn Orchestra in Bolzano, the Orchestra della Toscana, the Symphony Orchestra of Sanremo, the Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan and the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra.

He has collaborated with many famous conductors, such as W. Chung, J.Tate, A.Nanut, K.Penderecki, J.VaIchua, R.Barshai, J.Semkow, E.lmbal, S.Mintz, O.M.WeIber, G.Ferro, G.Kuhn, K.Yamada, Eiji Oue, M.Tabachnik, J.Webb and D.Rustioni. He has played for prestigious theatres and halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Philharmonie in Paris, the Wiener Musikverein, the Oriental Art Center Shanghai-Beijing, Cadogan Hall in London, the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, the Hall of Nations in Washington, D.C., the Munich Gasteig, and the Zurich Tonhalle. In 2008, he recorded A. Casella’s Concerto for Strings, Piano, Timpani and Percussion, Op. 69 with the Symphony Orchestra of Rome for NAXOS as a timpani and percussion soloist. From October 2004 to July 2014 he was a timpanist for the Symphony Orchestra of Rome, and since January 2016 he holds timpani masterclasses at the “Conservatory Benedetto Marcello” in Venice. He is currently Principal Timpanist at the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka.
