Tea Rušin

Soloist

Born in Rijeka where she had started her elementary ballet schooling, she graduated from “Conservatory for Music and Dance in Ljubljana” in 2016., in the class of the prof. Marinka Ribič. While schooling in Slovenia, she was performing with the Slovenian National Theatre Opera & Ballet Ljubljana. In the Slovenian State Dance Competition, Tea won bronze medal in 2013. and gold medal in 2015. She also received invitations to join seminars ran by famous ballet schools including: La Scala Milano, Hungarian Ballet Academy in Budapest etc.

In 2016. she started dancing at the Croatian National Theatre Ivana pl. Zajca, Rijeka. So far she has worked with choreographers such as Staša Zurovac, Maša Kolar, Mauro Bigonzetti, Giuseppe Spota, Martin Chaix, Giovanni di Palma, Mauro di Candia, Andonis Foniadakis, Douglas Lee and Walter Matteini.

In the season 2019./2020. she was awarded the prize „Olga Orlova” for the best female role in Maša Kolar’s „Lace“ as well as for the outstanding artistic achievement in Andonis Foniadakis’ „Burning water”.
