Born in Sicily, Michele Pastorini began his studies at the Teatro Massimo Vincenzo Bellini in Catania whereupon finishing the Accademia Vincenzo Bellini for classical ballet, he was selected for the project “Bellini Junior Company”. At the age of seventeen, he joined and extensively toured Europe with the „Città di Agrigento” company specialised in folkloristic performances. In 2011 he was invited to the swiss-based “Cinevox Junior Company”, under the direction of Malou Fenaroli. There he played leading roles in works by Franz Brodman, Jacqueline Beck, Felix Dumeril and Gisela Rocha.

During this period Michele started creating his own choreographies winning the Cinevox’ „Young Choreographers Award” two years in a row. In 2013. Michele joined the Dresden based „Landesbuehnen Sachsen” where he danced principal roles in works by Carlos Matos, Wencke Kriemer, Massimo Gerardi, Henrik Kaalund and Igor Kirov.

In 2017 Michele joined the ballet of the Croatian National Theatre Ivana pl. Zajca under the artistic direction of Maša Kolar, dancing in choreographies by Maša Kolar, Gina Patterson, Mauro Bigonzetti, Igor Kirov, Giuseppe Spota, Adonis Foniadakis, Shota Inue, Martan Chaix, Giovanni di Palma, Mauro de Candia, Walter Matteini and Douglas Lee. In 2020 Michele was promoted to a principal dancer.

As a choreographer he triumphed at the international Festival of choreographic miniatures in Belgrade (Serbia) in 2018. There his solo „t(w)o whom“ won the First Prize, the Audience Award and the plaque award „Aleksandar Izrailovski“ for inventiveness. Michele also won the Audience Award for the best male ballet role of Apollo and the roles played in „Serenade“ and „4 Boleros“ at the CNT Ivana pl. Zajca during the season 2018/19.
