Jure, a charismatic artist with 28 years of rich stage experience — from touring with the legendary Iron Maiden vocalist to performing with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, from street stages to Verdi’s Il Trovatore — brings passion and outstanding artistry that captivates audiences.
A powerful piano, virtuosic trumpet, passionate accordion, rhythmic drum section, and both electric and acoustic guitars — all performed by young, talented academically trained musicians gathered under the name OPERA ROCKSTAR®: Ivo Gustinčič (piano), Jon An Herlič (trumpet), Kristijan Arh (accordion), Žiga Klun (drums), Jernej Počkaj (bass), and Simon Šubic and Edin Sabljaković (guitar).
Expect the unexpected in the programme: the world-famous aria “Largo al factotum della città” (Figaro!) in dialogue with Bohemian Rhapsody, creating a surprising musical encounter. Emotional original compositions “Skozi modro nebo” and “It’s my love…” that captivate instantly.
Royal rock melodies (Elvis) flirt with classical masterpieces (Queen, Metallica) in a completely new way. The energetic rock ’n’ roll madness of “That’s All Right”, the melancholic post-Neapolitan “Misteriosamente”, and opera classics reinvented with a fresh OPERA ROCKSTAR® sound.
