Anca graduated from the Liceul de Coregrafie si Arta Dramatica „Octavian Stroia” ballet school in Cluj-Napoca. Later she also achieved a degree in ballet pedagogy from the Faculty of Performing Arts at the Music Academy „Gheorghe Dima”. Upon graduation from the „Octavian Stroia“ ballet school, Anca was accepted by the Ballet of the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca. There she danced in classical ballets such as: „Giselle”, „Swan Lake”, „Carmen”, „Scheherazade” and in many operas. At that time, she was awarded third place in the National Ballet Olympics in Lasa, Romania.
In 1999. Anca joined the Ballet of the Croatian National Theatre Ivana pl. Zajca in Rijeka. From 2008 till 2010 she was also teaching classical ballet to the preparatory grade and the first grade pupils at the Elementary Ballet and Contemporary Dance School (affiliated to the Elementary School „Vežica“). Since 2013 she has been teaching the „Dance Workshop M“attendees. In 2020. Anca has become the stage manageress for Ballet productions.
