Davor Nekjak (Baritone) born on August 11, 1998 in Bitola, North Macedonia, started his music education as a pianist, while in high school, he decided to continue singing. He is currently in his fifth year of studies at the Music Academy in Zagreb under the mentorship of Vlatka Oršanić. His achievements regarding music so far include; the role of Morales in the opera “Carmen” in the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb (HNK Zagreb), role of Fiorello in Croatian National theatre in Il barbiere di Seviglia, Role of Van Steen in Croatian operetta ( The power of love) , Role of Begler Beg of the opera Nikola Šubić Zrinjski in HNK Zagreb, concert version of L’elisir d’amore – the role of Belcore, soloist of “Requiem de Fauré”, recital in the Šibenik’s HNK (season 2019/2020 and season 2020/2021) , Solist of Rossini’s – Petite messe solennele, the role of Colas u operi “Bastien&Bastienne” (W.A.Mozart) in production of HNK Varaždin,
Markus Passion- J.S.Bach ( Jesus ) , role of Figaro in the opera “Priležnici” in Comedy Theatre in Zagreb, the role of Pandolf in the opera “Cendrillon” (J.Massenet) produced by the Academy of music, recital in the Shibenik’s HNK (season 2019/2020 and season 2020/2021), performance at the “Varaždinskim Baroknim večerima” season 2019, a performance featuring the Academy of Music’s Big Jazz Band led by maestro Saša Nestorović, collaborations with conductors such as Marcello Mottadelli , Josip Šego, Ivan Josip Skender, Matija Fortuna, Darijan Ivezić, and directors as Arnaud Bernard, Ozren Prohić, Saša Anočić along with numerous of seminars with famous professors and singers including Rainer Trost, Olivera Miljakovic, Krezhimir Strazanac and Ivanka Ninova, recitals in Macedonia and with a number of first prizes at singing competitions in Macedonia and Croatia, Slovakia.
