Premiere CABARET SACCO E VANZETTI/ CABARET SACCO AND VANZETTI
Immigration, racial prejudice and the related justice are shocking themes of our reality. This is why the Italian Drama and Teatro dei Borgia have decided to tell the story of two migrants, namely, two Italian migrants, Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti. This story known to many, develops through a dramaturgical elaboration that has only two actors on stage who recount, recite and sing a cappella, two lone actors who tell stories of fights, friendship and seven years of imprisonment of the two lone men. The cabaret moves with a great ease from one genre to another, creating an explosive mixture that entertains, encourages you to think, teaches and surprises in a great and impossible aspiration of the theatre, namely, to change – if not the course – than at least the interpretation of history.
