For the first time since the performances of Tristan and Isolde in February last year, the members of the orchestra finally returned to the orchestra pit in today’s rehearsal of the opera Madama Butterfly. This was possible, of course, due to their COVID certificates, i.e. the fact that all orchestra members had either been vaccinated or tested. This means that at the opera performance on Friday, September 10, the soloists will no longer share the stage with the orchestra, and will once again have a great view of conductor Valentin Egel. The show begins at 8 PM. We eagerly await you too, with COVID certificates, of course.
