Daniele’s initial dance steps had been in flamenco and jazz dance. He commenced classical ballet training at the Balletto teatro di Torino, continued at the Escuela de danza Victor Ullate in Madrid, and at the “John Cranko Staatliche Ballettakademie” in Stuttgart. Eventually Daniele graduated from the swiss Ballettschule Theater Basel in 2011, under the guidance of Rafael Avnikjan, Duncan Rownes and Amanda Bennett. He attended many ‘by-invitation only’ seminars and masterclasses including the“William Forsythe Improvisation Technologies” led by Ana Catalina Roman, Laura Graham and Oleg Klymyuk, and David Dawson’s Masterclass in Berlin.

Daniele worked at the ballet companies of the Theater Ulm and Mainfranken Theater Wuerzburg in Germany, before joining the Croatian National Theatre Ivana pl. Zajca in Rijeka. During his career, Daniele collaborated with renowned choreographers such as Victor Ullate, George Iancu, Richard Wherlock, Youri Vamos, Roberto Scafati, Diego Ciavatti, Hugo Viera, Dinko Bogdanic, Ronald Savkovic, Patrick Delcroix, Leo Mujic, Masa Kolar, Stasa Zurovac, Mauro Bingonzetti, Giuseppe Spota, Giovanni Di Palma, Mauro de Candia and others.

He was awarded the Special prize at the International Choreographic Competition “TanzOlymp” in 2015 in Berlin, for performing the choreography by Balazs Baranyai titled “LML”. For the season 2014/2015 at the CNT Ivana pl. Zajca, Daniele has also received the Audience Award “Joža Komljenović” for the best male role of Escamillo in ballet “Carmen” by Ronald Savković. From June 2020 he holds the position of the company’s ballet master.
