The enrollment of new subscribers for the 20/21 theatre season began today, September 23, and will be open until September 30. This season’s diverse program features drama, opera and ballet premieres and reprises, as well as symphony and chamber concerts.
If you have bought tickets through regular sales until now and aren’t sure if you need a subscription, here are seven reasons why a subscription is a better choice:
1. By subscribing, you secure the seat of your choice
When subscribing, you can select the seat in the auditorium that best suits you, and thus ensure a permanent seat for all the performances in your subscription.
2. Discounts up to 50%
As a subscriber, you not only enjoy 10 to 50% discounts, but also avoid subsequent increases in seasonal prices, which is especially important in today’s times of crisis.
3. More subscriptions = bigger discount
By purchasing two or more different subscriptions, you receive the additional benefit of a 20% discount on a lower-priced subscription.
4. Additional discount for pensioners and students
Pensioners and students receive an additional 20% discount on their selected subscription cycle, to the extent that the total discount does not exceed 50%.
5. If you postpone the show, you are entitled to a free ticket
If the date of a show does not suit you, you do not need to miss it, but will instead receive a free ticket to the (previously postponed) show
6. As a subscriber, you receive a discount of 20% on regular ticket sales
All subscribers enjoy a 20% discount on regular ticket prices when buying tickets for performances produced by the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc through regular sales (excluding performances on the day of the premiere, gala programs and guest performances). For guest performances and special theatrical events for which subscribers receive a discount, we will inform you separately.
7. You can pay in cash at an additional discount or by credit card in installments
If you pay for the subscription in cash, you will receive an additional 5% discount, and you can also pay in installments by card.
We also have a special benefit this season: by purchasing two subscriptions, you will receive a free Chamber Concerts subscription!
And that’s not all!
All our subscribers will receive one of the following two ballet performances of their choice as a gift: “Burning Water” choreographed by Andonis Foniadakis, or “Lace” (“Čipka”) with choreography by Maša Kolar, which are scheduled for September and October 2020.
Box office opening hours through September 30, 2020: Mon-Fri 9AM-7PM, Sat 9AM-1PM and one hour before the start of performances. From October 1, 2020: Mon-Fri 9AM-3PM, Sat 9AM-1PM and one hour before the start of performances.
