In the quiet courtyard of the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka, prepare for a magnificent journey through the world of Baroque music performed by the Rijeka Symphony Orchestra and distinguished soloists under the baton of Maestro Valentin Egel. At the heart of the programme is Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, one of the most celebrated works in the classical repertoire, whose virtuosic violin writing vividly depicts nature, the changing seasons, and the full spectrum of human emotions. From the freshness and radiance of Spring, through the dramatic storms of Summer, to the reflective and melancholic atmosphere of Winter, Vivaldi’s music continues to inspire audiences around the world.

Together with opera soloists Anamarija Knego and Michaela Selinger, and violinist Vivijana Rogina, the audience will experience a rich emotional journey ranging from delicate lyricism to powerful dramatic expression.
