Ticket sales are in progress for performances through the end of June. The program brings the long-awaited premiere of “Practicing Life – Second Time”, directed by Marin Blažević, on June 24 and 25, with reprise performances on June 26, 27, 29 and 30. You will experience a new reading of Nedjeljko Fabrij’s novel “Practicing Life” (Croatian: “Vježbanje života”) and the play of the same name from the nineties. This history of Rijeka from the perspective of women is brought to life by Neva Rošić, Mira Furlan, Zrinka Kolak Fabijan, Olivera Baljak, Leonora Surian Popov, Tanja Smoje, Jelena Lopatić, Ellis Lovrić and Ivna Bruck. With them you will also see the interpretations of Aleksandar Cvjetković, Mirko Soldano, Edi Ćelić, Dean Krivačić, Jasmin Mekić, Nikola Nedić, Mario Jovev, Giuseppe Nicodemo, Bruno Nacinovich, Denis Brižić, Dražen Mikulić, Anton Plešić and others.
Additionally, a choir concert awaits you at the Rijeka Resolution Square (Trg Riječke rezolucije) on June 26 and 27 – a tribute to Ivan Matetić Ronjgov on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of his birth and the 60th anniversary of his death, “Bilo vavek veselo” (“Always Cheerful”). The best choirs and vocal ensembles, as well as sopila players from Rijeka and its surroundings, will provide their contribution to the preservation of the composer’s opus.
