TICKETS ON SALE FOR MARCH, ALSO SOME PROGRAMMES UNTIL THE END OF SEASON!

Tickets on sale for all the performances in March, out of which we can point out the concert Adams, Beethoven, Shostakovich conducted by Ville Matvejeff, the premiere of the ballet Lace/ Čipka/ choreographed by Maša Kolar, and, of course, the premiere of the much-awaited performance of Practicing Life – Second Time/ Vježbanje života – drugi put/ directed by Marin Blažević.

The news is that we have opened the sale of tickets for some of the programmes to be performed until the end of season!
In April, it is Romeo and Juliet by Charles Gounod, one of the most romantic operas on the immortal love that opera lovers will be able to see again, followed by the revival of one of the most frequently performed baroque operas by Friedrich Händel Giulio Cesare in Egitto – Anew, and the emotional lyrical opera Werther by Jules Massenet in May.

Do not miss the concerts that make part of the ECoC programme, namely, in April it is one of the most sought-after string quartets in Europe, the Vision String Quartet, and in May we have a unique international ensemble Mahler Chamber Orchestra & Leif Ove Andsnes with Mozart Momentum. In April, the Rijeka Opera Orchestra and Chorus in cooperation with the Croatian Radio-Television Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will present an unrivalled concert experience, Symphony No. 2 in C minor, Resurrection, the first symphonic work by Gustav Mahler in which the composer made use of human voices. Two Rijeka soloist are also taking part, soprano Kristina Kolar, national opera soloist, and a notable mezzo-soprano Ivana Srbljan.

In May, the Rijeka Ballet ensemble will present the ballet-dance performance Burning Water/ Plamteća voda/ by the famous choreographer Andonis Foniadakis.
