Yet another day of our online program “Zajc With You” has concluded, and we have once again received numerous enthusiastic reactions and grateful comments. If you missed anything, here is a summary of yesterday’s program along with the video gallery.
In the morning, Drama principal Jelena Lopatić read Tatjana Gromača’s poem, “Can You Hear Me?” (“Da li me čuješ?”). At noon, soprano Ana Majdak sang Jelena’s aria from the opera “Nikola Šubić Zrinjski” by Ivan pl. Zajc, which she dedicated to our loyal audience. Our youngest audience heard another of Aesop’s Fables before bed, “The Fox and the Stork,” read in Italian by actor Mirko Soldano. The day concluded with the dance solo by the muse of hymnal and choral singing, Polyhymnia, from the ballet “Apollo”. The role was performed by Maria del Mar Hernandez with choreography by Martin Chaix.
