The singing Surian family, led by celebrated father Giorgio Surian, have created a unique play. Leonora Surian rearranged and adapted the text of the famous musical “Yalta, Yalta!” and created the chamber version of the same, performed with four actors (a Russian, an Englishman, an American valet and Nina Filipovna) and piano accompaniment. As everyone in the Surian family grew up with music and theatre, every member of that artistic family responded enthusiastically to the challenge, and with the help of renowned choreographer and director Mojca Horvat, together they created their “Yalta, Yalta”. Through their charm, simplicity and naturalness, using only a few props and almost no scenery, the Surian family manages to win over the audience and make it into an integral and necessary part of the show.
