CNT PERCUSSION TEAM AND GUESTS

The percussion team of the Rijeka Theatre and guests from the Rijeka Symphony Orchestra and Ivan Matetić Ronjgov Music School wish you a warm welcome to the first percussion concert in the history of Rijeka!

We are pleased to be given this opportunity, especially after the challenging times that are hopefully behind us, and to present this special program in the context of the instrumentation, language and topicality of the selected titles. The additional charm of the concert is that almost all the works were created in the 21st century. The selection of percussion compositions is even more challenging and interesting, which makes this Rijeka concert unique.

We will demonstrate new forms of musical expression that are rarely performed in such an environment, such as electrical effects and the use of electronics and, of course, percussion as the guiding thread, offering these combinations much more than is usual and playing more than 30 instruments!
