“And the Ship Sails On” (1983) conveyed a picture of withering art and of a society that is unaware of the events around it. Today’s society is just like that. This social critique will make you laugh and feel touched through images of the clash of classical and popular music, as well as its surreal characters from the imagination of a highly acclaimed Oscar winner, the most popular Italian director of all time and the most influential director of the 20th century.
