The opera Tosca was listed among the best musical events in 2019 by the editorial board of the specialized Italian web magazine Operaclick.com. In early 2020, it reached the list of the best in the world, in competition with more than 400 musical events. Thanks to that, Rijeka’s Tosca found itself in the company of productions of the truly best and most famous opera houses in the world, such as Milan’s La Scala or New York’s Metropolitan Opera.
The new production of Tosca is great in its uniqueness and we wholeheartedly recommend that everyone go see it, both because of Puccini’s timeless music and because of the brilliant and inventive direction that will not leave anyone feeling indifferent.
