Christmas holidays have become the personification of consumerism. Every year Christmas bombards of all directions, with all the available artillery. Piles of cakes, piles of presents, piles of multi-coloured wrapping paper, piles of Christmas songs, piles of queues in shops… We have tried all there is regarding Christmas, have celebrated it, sung all the Christmas songs, have argued and rediscovered it. Now it’s here again! Bold and indestructible! We cannot get rid of it!
This year everything starts all over again and we are not happy at all as Christmas has been reduced to consumerism and kitsch, immoderateness, headless chasing and total estrangement. But we, playful children, still secretly believe in the good spirit of Christmas and Father Christmas.
The performance Merry Christmas of Playful Children is for young boys and girls and their older friends, while parents are also welcome!
