With this musical, we fulfilled the wish of a great number of our visitors. Not any musical but one of the most famous ones from the opus of the eminent composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sunset Boulevard, based on the memorable film by the legendary Billy Wilder. Since it was created in 1991 and its first opening in the London West End in 1993, this musical about the best known boulevard in Hollywood, gained utmost popularity on Broadway and in the West End, realms of musical theatres. Famous Hollywood actress Glenn Close was in the leading role of Norma Desmon in the original London production, also the later New York one. The Rijeka production relies entirely on its own artistic forces, actors and singers, ballet, also the orchestra, conductor, directors, and choreographer. We are preparing a magnificent, glamorous, nostalgic and unforgettable musical-theatre-dance show!
